Lenten Dinner Series

March 23 | 6-7:30pm

Lenten Program: The Chosen

This Lent we will be exploring the first season of “The Chosen” together as a congregation. The series portrays Jesus’ early ministry, when he was still an anonymous Jewish wanderer. Most of Roman Palestine knew nothing of Jesus at the time. In the series, Jesus --meets his first six disciples -- Matthew, Peter, Andrew, James, John, and Thomas – along with Nicodemus and Mary Magdalene. These characters come alive, as they are depicted, as real people with backstories, who are navigating real life in the first century. “The Chosen” immerses the viewer into first century culture with biblical and historical accuracy and storytelling brilliance.  The Chosen is based on the stories found in the four gospels of Jesus Christ. You are encouraged to read one or more of the gospels this Lenten season.

There are a variety of ways we will engage with this
award-winning retelling of Jesus life each week.

We will:

- Watch an episode of “The Chosen” together or at home

- Listen to Graham preach a “Chosen” sermon on Sundays

- Participate in Lenten Dinner Small Group discussions

- Read daily Chosen email devotions delivered to our in-box.

Lenten Dinners will take place in Fellowship Hall from
6-7:30 PM

Cost $12 for adults and $25 for a family. You will pay in person.
